Bellymasks are profoundly personal statements about a woman's pregnancy. Although every woman is different, many share the following reasons for wanting a bellymask...
A Unique memento of a woman's pregnancy that will last a lifetime.
A celebration of a first, last or any pregnancy.
Loving proof to children that their mothers were proud and happy to be pregnant.
An empowering statement about the beauty of the pregnant form.
A way to involve family in the birth process by having them decorate the mask.
A creative, artistic means for women to express their feelings toward pregnancy and motherhood.
Feb. 2004
I recently did a show with Babies R Us located in Rochester New York. We had a great turn out!
Dec. 2003
I was at the University of Rochester participating in a "Mothering the Mother" program. I met many wonderful women and expectant Mom's. I am thankful for these opportunities.
Summer of 2002
I had a great time participating in Olean's Art in the Park as well as the 2nd annual India Fest in Gargoyle Park and the 2nd annual Cuba Art Show. I met many wonderful people who wanted to learn about bellymasking and why a woman might make the choice to have one made of her pregnancy.
Bellymasking has now had a new boost! ABC's Regis and Kelly show weekday mornings featured Kelly's bellymask this past month. Bellymasks are the new way for a woman to express herself through a personal art form!
Bellymasking has also been seen on the TODAY show, Oprah Show, and TLC's "A Bably Story". Bellymasking is also seen in all Pregnancy magazines.
